Below is a select few projects I have had the privilege of working on in the Napa Valley through my time at Wright Contracting.

OPUS ONE

Architect: Johnson Fain | Interior Designer: Joan Behnke & Associates | Landscape Architect: Reed Hilderbrand

One of Napa Valley’s most iconic wine brands, Opus One continually evolves through thoughtful architectural enhancements. Collaborating with Johnson Fain—the original architect from the 1980s—we executed a series of significant upgrades, including the terrace renovation, north and main entry improvements, and overall enhancements to support the winery’s ongoing pursuit of excellence.

BEAULIEU VINEYARDS

Architect: Signum Architects

A historic stone structure dating back to the late 1800s, Beaulieu Vineyards served as a winemaking facility for over a century. We partnered with Treasury Wine Estates and Signum Architects on a comprehensive transformation plan to convert the space into a premier tasting destination while preserving its rich heritage.

MARKHAM VINEYARDS

Architect: Matt Hollis Architects

Located in St. Helena, this historic stone building had last been updated in the 1980s. Collaborating with Matt Hollis Architects, we completed a full renovation that introduced modern design elements while honoring the winery’s storied past.

STONY HILL

Designer: Rakis Designs

Originally a private residence, this hilltop property in St. Helena became a tasting room in the late 1990s. Under new ownership by Lawrence Wine Estates, we undertook a major renovation led by Rakis Designs, upgrading all interiors to reflect the prestige of the brand while preserving its intimate charm.

INK GRADE

Designer: FDG Design Group

For this new label under Lawrence Wine Estates, FDG Design Group envisioned a one-of-a-kind tasting experience. Highlights include a dramatic welcome table crafted from an onsite boulder and an immersive projection room that virtually transports guests to Howell Mountain. We brought this ambitious vision to life with precision and attention to detail.

HEITZ

Architect: ARG

Following the 2018 acquisition of the esteemed Heitz brand, Lawrence Wine Estates aimed to elevate its tasting experience. Working with ARG, we helped transform the interiors with premium custom finishes and millwork, while the newly upgraded terrace offers panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards.

BRENDEL

Designer: Rakis Designs

This downtown Napa tasting room for Brendel Wines required a distinct approach. Tasked with creating a space that would stand out in a competitive location, Rakis Designs delivered a whimsical and approachable space. We executed the build to capture the label’s ethos—that great wine should be accessible to everyone.
